COVID-19 Protocol

How we keep each other safe during COVID-19

We are happy to announce that all therapists and administration staff have had both their doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (end of June 2021), as well as the 3rd (booster) shots by December, 2021

Your Appointment during COVID-19

The use of masks/face coverings will be continued at Killens Reid Physiotherapy.

We will continue to put the health and safety of everyone as a top priority.

This is a Health Care facility. Some of our patients are older, and/or immunocompromised. Our treatments are in close proximity to each other, for a prolonged time.

The World Health Organization still considers this a pandemic, and there is still evidence of community transmission in the Ottawa wastewater. It is recommended by the Health Authorities to continue work-place precautions (use of PPE such as masks/face coverings) to reduce the spread of the virus.

If a therapist gets sick, they must cancel their work week. This will take away treatments to many, and it is a financial loss to the therapist. If their children get sick, they can not attend school.

If you have any cold, or flu-like symptoms, reschedule your appointment, or change it to a virtual appointment.
